Visiting the Abhasa Spa was a highlight of our honeymoon. We decided to set up our spa day for our first day in Oahu and it as the perfect, most relaxing way to start our two week adventure.
The Abhasa Spa is located inside the famous “Pink Palace of the Pacific”. A luxury collection resort in Waikiki Beach, also known as The Royal Hawaiian. What a beautiful place! Greenery, flowers, and old Hawaiian charm is everywhere as soon as you walk onto the grounds of the resort.
Arriving to the spa, we were greeted with guava juice and had a few minutes to change into our robes before being taken to our private cabana, located in the Royal Grove Courtyard. Our cabana, while covered, was open air and we laid down on two massage tables right next to each other. As a wedding gift, we were given the Couples Package, which included an 80 minute Lomi Lomi Massage, and a 25 minute Pronto Facial. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience. The atmosphere was both relaxing and romantic, the massage was the perfect amount of pressure, and the facial was hydrating and energizing.
Afterward, we went into our separate indoor lounges where you could find a shower, steam room, hot tub, and everything you may need to get ready again. Rebecca actually liked the body lotion and deodorant they provided so much that she purchased her own set as soon as we got back home. If you’re looking for a natural option in deodorants, Erbaviva’s Jasmine Grapefruit deodorant works incredibly well!! And will always make me think of Waikiki!
